Google Gemini Spark UK availability: checked 5 October 2026

Google Gemini Spark is not confirmed as available in the UK, because Google's pages say it is open to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers over 18 in select countries and do not name the UK. We read Google's Spark page and its 30 July 2026 announcement on 5 October 2026, and this page reports only what those two say.

Is Gemini Spark available in the UK?

Neither Google page we read on 5 October 2026 names the UK as a country where Spark is live. Google's Spark page describes the agent as "currently available for Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers over 18 in select countries as well as select business users" Spark page. No list of those countries appears in the text we read, so a reader in the UK cannot confirm access from it.

A region menu at the foot of the Spark page includes United Kingdom with English as the language Spark page. That menu is headed "Change your region and language", and it sits beside a long list of other places. Its presence tells you the Gemini site has a UK version. It carries no wording about where Spark is switched on.

Absence from a list is also different from a refusal. Google's two pages give no reason for any country's absence, and they do not say Spark is withheld from the UK Spark page Google post. Nothing beyond those two pages was used here, so any report of a UK launch or a UK block elsewhere falls outside what was checked.

What do Google's two pages say?

The two pages describe the same rollout from different dates. The July post gives a count of countries and one tier, and the Spark page gives both tiers and no count. Neither one names where the line falls.

Who can get Gemini Spark?

Access depends on a paid Google plan. The Spark page gives it to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers over 18, in select countries, and to select business users Spark page. Its closing line reads "Subscription required. Compatibility and availability vary. 18+." Spark page

The July expansion names only the Pro tier, and the post does not mention Ultra Google post. Whether Ultra subscribers in the newly added countries are covered is therefore a gap in the post, and we do not fill it. Neither page we read gives a price for either plan.

Is Chrome auto browse in the UK?

Chrome auto browse is the feature added in the 30 July 2026 post. With your permission, Spark can use your logged-in accounts and saved passwords for web errands such as scheduling viewings for saved apartments, or researching flight options and starting the booking Google post. For sensitive actions such as payments, Spark hands the task back to you Google post.

Google says these capabilities are "initially rolling out in the U.S. with plans to expand to additional regions in the future" Google post. No other region is named and no date is given. Once you have access, Google's page sets out how Spark behaves. These are the claims it makes about the agent itself.

The page also describes Tasks, Skills and Schedules. Schedules set time-based or conditional triggers, and Skills let you define how Spark handles things you do often Spark page.

What if Spark is not open to you?

Google's own footer says compatibility and availability vary Spark page. The same page's question on where to get Spark links to a separate availability page, and that page was not among the two we read. If you hold a Pro or Ultra plan, that linked page is the place to look for a country list, since the two pages here do not carry one.
